We recommend having a poison control number dedicated to animals on hand in case your pet ingests or comes into contact with a potentially harmful medication or substance. We are not familiar with all the chemicals or human medications available to the public and this hotline has board certified veterinary toxocologists on staff 24 hrs a day that can give the background of the chemical or medication and necessary treatment. This hotline does require an initial fee but will remain available for the duration of your pet’s treatment. If you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately at 541-779-0951 and press #4 to reach our emergency service.
